Kirsten Williams

Psychologist & Child Psychotherapist

With a background in both private and nonprofit therapeutic services, Kirsten brings warmth, depth, and curiosity to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Master’s in Child Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (MCPP), and is registered with AHPRA and EMDRAA.

Her approach is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in each person’s unique needs. Therapy may draw from EMDR, attachment-based work, somatic and neurobiological frameworks, or everyday coping strategies—depending on what feels most helpful in the moment.

Kirsten is especially interested in supporting emotional wellbeing across the lifespan, with a strong focus on:

  • trauma recovery and nervous system regulation

  • neurodiversity-affirming support

  • early intervention for young children and families

  • relational therapy and parenting

  • complex grief, burnout, and transitions
